ToggleChristian Pulisic continues to have a breakout season for AC Milan this campaign and arguably the biggest area of improvement has come in his corner kicks. That proved crucial against Real Madrid as Milan pulled off a significant 3-1 upset.
The U.S. international dropped a pinpoint assist off of a corner in the 12th minute to find Malick Thaw on a headed goal to score Milan's opener. It was Pulisic's fourth overall assist of the season, in 13 matches, and continues to show his quality.

Pulisic has been a shining light for a team that has struggled with inconsistency all season long.
AC Milan were in a desperate situation and delivered a substantial three points to give their chances of advancing a boost. While they kept their spot in 18th, they are just one point off 14th and three points away from the fourth and fifth spots in the new Champions League table.
Milan have just one more fixture before the international break, facing Cagliari on Nov. 9.
